Villa Santina is one of the gateways to the Carnic Hills Intermunicipal Park. Its territory is located on a wide plain, at the confluence of the Degano stream with the Tagliamento River.
The locality is home to the "Carnica Arte Tessile" weaving mill, the highest heir to Carnic textile traditions and a faithful continuer of the models developed by the entrepreneur Linussio, who in the 1700s made Carnia one of the major centers of textile production in Europe.
It is an ideal starting point for numerous hiking, biking and horseback riding tours.
The Vinadia Gorge is a 200 m gorge perfect for canyoning.
