The town of Codroipo is located in the centre of the resurgence area. Inhabited since Roman times, it owes its name to the Latin word Quadrivium. Numerous archaeological finds have been unearthed, some of which are on display in the Municipal Museum.
You can lose yourself in the infinite beauty of the Parco delle Risorgive, to be discovered on foot or by bicycle.
In some places it will really feel as if you are walking on water that resurfaces after travelling underground.
Right on the edge of the park, you can stroll past the old mills, such as the one in Bosa and the 15th-century one in Bert, which is still working and can be visited.
